Belle Fourche Team 1, Purple, took first place in a rain-delayed Lead-Deadwood Early Bird Minors Tournament at the Days of '76 complex.

The tournament was originally scheduled for the weekend of May 18 but had to be finished Memorial weekend, due to rain.

Coaches Jason LaFayette and Jesse Kracht led their young team that includes Jake Byrd, Gage Kracht, Blake Vissia, Brody Ager, Tate LaFayette, David White, Nathan Newlander, Cayden Wolfe, Benjamin Newlander, David Ewers and Wyatt Keegan.

In addition, the Belle Fourche Grey team took second place, while the Belle Fourche Black team finished fourth in the tournament.
